With Animal Kingdom and Farhh short priced for victory in the Queen Anne, is there antepost value elsewhere in Elusive Kate at 20/1
The globe-trotting Animal Kingdom is many punters idea of the winner of the first race at Royal Ascot 2013, but with prices as short as 5/4 is the value elsewhere? The impressive Lockinge winner Farhh has quotes of around 3/1 to upset the American favourite but surely the each way prices available about the ultra consistent Elusive Kate are more attractive.
The Gosden horse was placed in many of the top mile races in Europe last season and stands out at 20/1 with SportingBet and 16/1 with BetVictor as the each way value. If she lines up on the day she is bound to go off significantly shorter.
Crockford advises that she will provide more value each way than a win bet on Animal Kingdom.
