Steeler and Heavy Metal look attractive propositions in the Betfred Mile on day four of Glorious Goodwood

Both Steeler and Heavy Metal were classy two-year-olds, with Steeler winning the Royal Lodge and Heavy Metal taking the Richmond Stakes. A return to form for both horses in recent weeks suggests that punters should keep a close eye on them when they reappear at Goodwood today.

In what is always a competitive race the two four-year-olds will face a strong field that includes the fancied Velox for Luca Cumani and AW Champions Day winner Captain Cat. With all things considered the talented Steeler gets the nod.

On the fifth day of the Galway Festival Dermot Weld will overcome a barren day yesterday by sending out what looks to be a good chance in every race on the card. Could the Master of Rosewell go through the card? Perhaps he can.

Performed well in the Guineas and Group One company this season so far. This race and field is a drop in grade and looks well with the grasp of this talented Free Handicap winner.

Very high class horse at two-years-old and showed good form last time out when finishing third in the Royal Hunt Cup back in June. If he can continue in that vein of form in what is a competitive he has strong each way claims.
