Festival doubles look to be on the cards at Galway today with Busted Tycoon and Toufan Express

Tony Martin’s Busted Tycoon was an easy winner at the Festival on Tuesday and is odds on to follow up on that win today. At 4/6 it is hard to belief that he will not provide his trainer Martin with another Galway victory.

Toufan Express captured a second Galway Festival success on Wednesday to add to the horse’s win back at the meeting in 2010. Priced at 9/2 to be back in the Winner’s Enclosure today he will have plenty of supporters urging him home.

What may look impractical at other meetings always seems to come off at Galway. Crockford expects these two doubles to be landed and for Dermot Weld to potentially land five winners on the day.

Crockford’s Gambles on the sixth day of the Galway Festival:

Leafcutter (2.00), Mahon Falls (3.10), Stuccudor and Ask Dad (3.10), Happy New Year e/w and Carlito Brigante e/w (3.45), Toufan Express (4.20), Magnolia Ridge (4.55), Sharp Crisp Air (5.25) and Busted Tycoon (5.55)
