Punters should Take Cover in the Group One Nunthorpe sprint on Day Three of the Ebor Festival
Take Cover was an impressive winner at Glorious Goodwood last month and will look to make another step up in grade when he takes on his rivals in the Group One Nunthorpe. The Griffiths trained seven-year-old has come on leaps and bounds this season is now a real contender at this level. The greatest danger to his valuable hat-trick will be the seasoned campaigners Sole Power and Shea Shea, whose connections must fancy their chances of prize money.
Cavalryman also tasted success on the Sussex Downs when beating his opponents in the Goodwood Cup. With Estimate re-opposing in the Lonsdale Cup expect the placings not to be reversed.
CROCKFORD’S DEAD CERT – CAVALRYMAN (LONSDALE CUP 2.30)
