Punters should Take Cover in the Group One Nunthorpe sprint on Day Three of the Ebor Festival

Take Cover was an impressive winner at Glorious Goodwood last month and will look to make another step up in grade when he takes on his rivals in the Group One Nunthorpe. The Griffiths trained seven-year-old has come on leaps and bounds this season is now a real contender at this level. The greatest danger to his valuable hat-trick will be the seasoned campaigners Sole Power and Shea Shea, whose connections must fancy their chances of prize money.

Cavalryman also tasted success on the Sussex Downs when beating his opponents in the Goodwood Cup. With Estimate re-opposing in the Lonsdale Cup expect the placings not to be reversed.

An impressive winner of the Goodwood Cup last month, the Godolphin stayer will have no problem in winning again against his rivals. With a win in the Grand Cup at the course in 2012 and a victory in the Princess of Wales’s Stakes at Newmarket this year he has the form to be a certainty.

This improving sprinter was a runaway winner in the King George at Glorious Goodwood and looks set to make the step up in grade again. Won a listed race at the course last month and is certain to make a bold show again on his return to the Knavesmire.
