Tony Martin’s Quick Jacks looks excellent each way Ante Post value for Saturday’s Ebor
Priced at 8/1 with Ladbrokes, Quick Jack finished third in last year’s Cesarewitch and could go even better in the Ebor this weekend.
His trainer Tony Martin is a master planner and has guaranteed his charge a featherweight for the race. The dual purpose performer comes to York off a brilliant second in the Chester Cup behind the Ascot Gold Cup winner Trip To Paris. Another good run from Trip To Paris in the Lonsdale Cup on Friday will see Quick Jack’s price tumble.
Quick Jack’s biggest threat is likely to come from the Royal Ascot winner Clondaw Warrior. However, Mullins’ horse is not certain to make the race being on a reserve on declaration.
