Dunaden will face a stiff test in the Grand Prix De Saint-Cloud when he faces Cirrus Des Aigles

Dunaden finished second behind St Nicholas Abbey in the Coronation Cup at Epsom last time out but his rival Cirrus Des Aigles was second to the mighty Frankel when he last saw a racecourse. Cirrus Des Aigles was ranked second in the world behind Frankel last season and will have his favoured ground at Saint-Cloud tomorrow. With Cirrus De Aigles priced at 6/4 he is the worthy favourite but the prices available about Dunaden¬†seem short at 9/2. More each way value will be available with Ed Dunlop’s Joshua Tree at 12/1. Winning in France and Canada last season Joshua Tree certainly has strong place claims and will probably chase the favourite and Dunaden home.

There will be no larking around when Michael Bell’s The Lark takes on her rivals in the Prix De Malleret (1.50) at Saint-Cloud. Third in the Oaks and having swerved Royal Ascot she looks set to take the Group Two contest.

In the early hours of the morning, Gentildonna will look to get back to winning ways in the Group One Takarazuka Kinen at Hanshin. Finishing second behind St Nicholas Abbey in the Sheema Classic at Meydan in the spring, the Japan Cup winner will have the most to fear from Fenomeno.
