Aidan O’Brien’s Australia is set for Derby double when faces his rivals in the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby at the Curragh
With late doubts surrounding the participation of the Epsom second Kingston Hill, it looks all the more certain that Aidan O’Brien’s Derby winner will make it an English Irish double.
The stable has always held Australia in such high regard and was proven right when he raced away from the field at Epsom. In what is a smaller and weaker field at the Curragh he should make light work of his opposition. The good-firm conditions will ensure that he will not struggle in the way that the mighty Camelot did back in 2012.
Expect the horse the trainer calls the best his trained to provide an imperious performance.
